Twelve recognisable digital tribes — each defined by an aesthetic register, an ideological cluster, and a platform ecosystem. Most adults belong to one primary and adjacent to two others. T1 · Twelve Internet Tribes

Twelve recognisable subcultures. You are probably in one and adjacent to two.十二种可辨识的亚文化。你大概在其中一个、邻近另两个。

Each card pairs the tribe's aesthetic register with its ideological cluster and the platform ecosystem where its grammar is fluent. The descriptions are deliberately concise — caricature is the cost of legibility, and we err on the side of legibility while flagging it.每张卡片把部落的美学语域与其意识形态簇、其语法流利的平台生态配对。描述刻意简洁——漫画化是可读性的代价,我们在可读性一侧出错,并明示这一点。

T2 · Tribe Network

Affinity in green. Antagonism in red. Indifference is the white space.亲和绿。对抗红。冷漠是空白。

Edges are drawn from observable platform behaviour: shared follows, quote-tweet patterns, mutual blocks, repost rates. The map is a snapshot, not a fixed truth — affinities mutate quarterly, antagonisms decay annually.边由可观察的平台行为绘出:共同关注、引用转推模式、相互拉黑、转发率。地图是快照,不是固定真相——亲和按季度变异,对抗按年衰减。

T3 · Tribe Locator

A toy classifier, not a clinical instrument. The questions are intentionally pointed — the cost of being mildly unflattering is borne by accuracy. The output names a primary tribe and one adjacent tribe with which you have measurable overlap.一个玩具分类器,不是临床仪器。问题刻意尖锐——略不奉承的代价由准确性承担。输出会命名一个主部落与一个你有可测量重叠的邻近部落。

T4 · Vibe Shifts (2010–2026)

Vibes are the running aesthetic dominant of online culture. They shift roughly every 18–24 months and tend to follow a predictable cycle: after one vibe peaks, the contrarian inverse vibe consolidates within two seasons.氛围是在线文化运转中的美学主导。它们大约每 18–24 个月移动一次,并倾向于遵循可预测的循环:某种氛围达峰后,反向逆氛围会在两季内巩固。

Five things Internet Tribes will not do.互联网部落不会做的五件事。

  • No tribal essentialism. Tribes are descriptive clusters, not essential categories. Most adults migrate across two or three tribes per decade as the platform field changes.不做部落本质论。部落是描述性簇,不是本质类别。多数成年人在十年里随平台场变化跨越两到三个部落迁徙。
  • No tribal warfare amplification. The antagonism edges in the network are descriptive of observable platform behaviour. They are not endorsements; we will not produce "how to dunk on tribe X" content.不做部落战争放大。网络中的对抗边描述的是可观察的平台行为,不是背书;我们不生产"如何嘲讽 X 部落"的内容。
  • No purity tests. The locator returns a primary tribe and one adjacent tribe — never a single one. Adjacency is the point: most internet identity is a coordinate in a small neighbourhood, not a category.不做纯度测试。定位器返回一个主部落与一个邻近部落——绝不只一个。邻近本身就是要点:多数互联网身份是某个小邻域内的坐标,不是范畴。
  • No "the internet ruined culture" framing. The map also refuses the inverse "the internet emancipated culture." Both are stories. The data is messier and more local.不做"互联网毁了文化"框架。地图同时拒绝其反向:"互联网解放了文化"。两者都是故事;数据更乱、更本地。
  • No infinite-AI-generation slop. Twelve curated tribes plus five canned probes plus one heuristic fallback is better discipline than infinitely generated tribe-takes that decay within months.不做无限 AI 生成的污水。十二个精选部落加五个预设探针加一个启发式回退,比数月内就过期的、无穷生成的"部落锐评"是更好的纪律。
